About the BHA Executive

As of February 2016, the Belize History Association executive includes Dr. Abigail McKay as Chair; Ms. Ifasina Efunyemi as Vice Chair; Ms. Myrna Manzanares as Senior Member; Mr. Jose Perera as Senior Member; and Mr. John Dunn as Junior Member.

The ex-officio members are Mr. Nigel Encalada as a representative of the Institute for Social and Cultural Research/National Institute of Culture and History; Dr. Herman Byrd as a representative of the Belize Archives and Records Service; Mr. John Newport as a representative of the Ministry of Education; and Mr. Carlos Clarke as a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
